GreenWay is a leading EV charging infrastructure provider in Central and Eastern Europe. As the regulatory landscape for e-mobility continues to evolve, we are looking for a Regulatory, Policy & Public Affairs Manager to help advance policies that support sustainable transport and the expansion of charging infrastructure across Europe.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of electromobility at both Slovak and European levels while working directly with GreenWay's senior leadership team and representing the company in key industry and policy discussions.
About the Role
The position will be part of GreenWay Holding (GreenWay SA) and will report directly to the Chairman of the Board. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chairman, the CEO, and other senior leaders across the organization.
The role covers 3 main areas
- Supporting GreenWay`s activities at the European level, particularly through cooperation with the Chairman of the Board on activities carried out within ChargeUp Europe.
- Leading GreenWay’s regulatory and public affairs activities in Slovakia through cooperation with the Slovak EV Association (SEVA), relevant ministries, municipalities, the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (ÚRSO), the National Motorway Company (NDS), and other industry stakeholders.
- Preparing expert positions, comments, statements, briefings, and communication materials related to regulatory and policy topics.
Main Responsibilities
Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy
Monitor, analyze, and help shape regulatory developments relevant to GreenWay, including:
- European regulations related to e-mobility, charging infrastructure, and energy.
- Slovak energy regulation related to electromobility.
- Other Slovak legislation impacting the development of electric mobility.
Responsibilities will include:
- preparing GreenWay’s positions on regulatory matters and representing these positions in consultations, working groups, and discussions with public authorities,
- coordinating input from internal experts,
- participating in public consultations,
- developing and maintaining relationships with public officials, media representatives, industry associations, and other stakeholders in Slovakia and Europe,
- representing GreenWay in SEVA working groups and other relevant industry forums,
- translating regulatory developments into business implications for GreenWay,
- coordinating the engagement of GreenWay experts in industry working groups and consultations.
Expert Communication
The role requires close cooperation with GreenWay’s marketing and communications teams on regulatory and policy topics. While this is not a traditional communications role, it requires excellent writing skills and the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting international communication activities that strengthen GreenWay’s visibility and reputation.
- Leading the preparation of coalition announcements, press releases, and communications related to CEF and AFIF projects.
- Increasing the visibility of GreenWay experts by identifying opportunities for participation in conferences, webinars, podcasts, interviews, and industry events.
- Preparing expert comments, statements, briefings, articles, and other communication materials.
- Supporting the preparation of speeches, presentations, panel discussions, and conference appearances.
Experience working with media is welcome but not required.
ChargeUp Europe & European Activities
Approximately 50% of working time will be dedicated to supporting the Chairman of the Board in a "sherpa" role within ChargeUp Europe in Brussels. The role requires regular travel, typically around five business days per month.
Responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact between GreenWay and ChargeUp Europe.
- Supporting GreenWay’s Chairman of the Board in his role within the association by helping define agendas and ensuring he is fully briefed on key topics.
- Building and maintaining active working relationships with policy managers and representatives from member companies.
- Participating in bi-weekly Policy Committee meetings and ensuring GreenWay’s views are represented across a broad range of policy topics.
- Coordinating internal expert input and contributing GreenWay’s perspective to policy discussions.
- Participating in task forces and ad hoc working groups on specific policy issues.
- Contributing to Management Committee discussions related to governance, membership matters, and policy approvals.
- Supporting the Communications Committee and identifying opportunities for GreenWay’s participation in external activities.
- Preparing policy briefings, position papers, speeches, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Participating in selected industry events in Brussels and other European locations.
Full knowledge of European regulatory processes is not required from day one. However, the successful candidate should be a quick learner, capable of working independently, and able to develop a strong understanding of both policy and business considerations.

What we are looking for
a senior, independent, and analytical professional with excellent writing skills. The candidate should combine an understanding of regulation, business, public affairs, and external communication.
We are not looking for a traditional lobbyist, PR manager, or purely administrative profile. We are looking for an expert who can understand GreenWay’s interests, develop evidence-based positions, coordinate internal expertise, and effectively represent the company externally.
Previous experience within EU institutions (European Parliament, European Commission, Permanent Representation of an EU Member State, or European trade associations) will be considered an advantage.
Relevant experience may come from sectors such as:
- energy,
- infrastructure or transport,
- e-mobility,
- industry associations,
- regulatory advisory,
- public affairs,
- consulting.
Experience in e-mobility is an advantage but not essential. More important is a strong understanding of business and regulation, combined with the ability to quickly learn the specifics of the CPO market.

Language Requirements and Work Model
- Slovak: excellent written and spoken communication skills.

- Location: Bratislava.
- Work model: largely remote.
Travel: up to approximately 30% of working time, including Warsaw, Gdynia, Bratislava, Brussels, and European industry events

ÚČEL A ZÁKLAD SPRACÚVANIA OSOBNÝCH ÚDAJOV, CHARAKTER POŽIADAVKY NA POSKYTNUTIE OSOBNÝCH ÚDAJOV A DÔSLEDKY NEPOSKYTNUTIA OSOBNÝCH ÚDAJOV:
Údaje, ktoré poskytuje žiadateľ o prijatie na pozíciu v spoločnosti GreenWay Slovensko s. r. o., sa spracovávajú na účel výberového procesu na pozíciu uvedenú v žiadosti po dobu do ukončenia tohto výberového procesu, prípadne v ďalších výberových procesoch na rovnakú alebo podobnú pozíciu. Tento súhlas sa udeľuje maximálne na dobu 12 mesiacov. Osobné údaje sa spracovávajú na základe súhlasu dotknutej osoby. Súhlas sa vzťahuje na osobné údaje žiadateľa poskytnuté v žiadosti, prostredníctvom webového formulára, pri osobnom stretnutí, alebo akýmkoľvek iným spôsobom počas výberového procesu.
V prípade neposkytnutia osobných údajov a súhlasu nemôže spoločnosť GreenWay Slovensko s. r. o. zahrnúť záujemcu do výberového procesu na pozíciu.
KATEGÓRIE PRÍJEMCOV OSOBNÝCH ÚDAJOV:
Príjemcom osobných údajov dotknutých osôb majú byť subjekty, ktoré budú spracovávať osobné údaje v mene spoločnosti GreenWay Slovensko s. r. o..
DOBA UCHOVÁVANIA OSOBNÝCH ÚDAJOV:
Súhlas je udelený na dobu nevyhnutnú na ukončenie výberového procesu
na pozíciu uvedenú v žiadosti, prípadne v ďalších výberových procesoch na rovnakú alebo podobnú pozíciu. Tento súhlas sa udeľuje maximálne na dobu 12 mesiacov. Spoločnosť GreenWay Slovensko s. r. o. bude uchovávať osobné údaje dotknutých strán po dobu platnosti súhlasu. Účinky odvolania súhlasu záujemcu nie sú týmto dotknuté. Ustanovenia osobitných zákonov, ktoré stanovujú lehoty na uchovávanie údajov a dokumentácie, zostávajú týmto nedotknuté
PRÁVA DOTKNUTEJ OSOBY:
Dotknutá osoba má právo:
(I) právo požadovať od spoločnosti GreenWay Slovensko s. r. o. prístup k jej osobným údajom podľa § 21 zákona č. 18/2018 Z. z.
o ochrane osobných údajov a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov („Zákon“),
(II) právo na opravu svojich osobných údajov podľa § 22 Zákona,
(III) právo na vymazanie svojich osobných údajov podľa § 23 Zákona,
(IV) právo na obmedzenie spracúvania svojich osobných údajov podľa § 24 Zákona,
(V) právo na prenosnosť svojich osobných údajov podľa § 26 Zákona,
(VI) právo namietať spracúvanie svojich osobných údajov podľa § 27 Zákona,
(VII) právo kedykoľvek odvolať svoj súhlas udelený na spracovanie svojich osobných údajov podľa § 14 Zákona,
(VIII) právo podať návrh na začatie konania ochranu osobných údajov pred Úradom na ochranu osobných údajov
Slovenskej republiky podľa § 100 Zákona.
Vyššie uvedené práva má dotknutá osoba aj podľa Nariadenia Európskeho parlamentu a Rady (EÚ) 2016/679 z 27. apríla
2016 o ochrane fyzických osôb pri spracúvaní osobných údajov a o voľnom pohybe takýchto údajov, ktorým sa zrušuje
smernica 95/46/ES (všeobecné nariadenie o ochrane údajov)
EXISTENCIA AUTOMATIZOVANÉHO INDIVIDUÁLNEHO ROZHODOVANIA VRÁTANE PROFILOVANIA:
Spoločnosť GreenWay Slovensko s. r. o. neuskutočňuje automatizované spracovanie týchto údajov s právnymi účinkami
